Pomegranate Ginger Juice

Shared by Jyoti Chalpe

For the couple

Dear Kimaya and Tanay, With this recipe you can start your mornings with some vibrant color and love. Just like good marriage, this juice is a perfect blend of sweet and tart! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Why it's special

I love this because itโ€™s โ€™no added sugarโ€™ If you already have the arils/seeds itโ€™s quick to make. The taste is addicting, you will agree with me once you try it. There is no going wrong. Even if the pomegranate is not sweet, the ginger and salt are there to take care. No wasted pomegranates any more.

Ingredients

Arils/seeds of one or two pomegranates Ginger small piece Salt to taste Few ice cubes

Steps

Add all the ingredients to the blender. Blend until the juice separates from the seeds. It is ok if the seeds break down. Pour the juice through a strainer. You might want to use back of a spoon to press the seeds down so all the juice is separated from the seeds. The juice is ready to serve.

Notes

Make sure to add the ice cubes. That helps you get nice cold juice immediately. Also, the ice cubes help retain the color and the shelf life of the juice will be more, in case you want to store it for later. You can increase the amount of ginger to your liking. Adding lime juice enhances the flavor of the juice. You can add any sparkling water, if thatโ€™s your preference.
